Sunil Kumar Garg is a Senior Software Engineer at Agoda, with over 13 years of relevant experience in the field. He specializes in the travel business, M-Commerce, Android app development, Core Java, and Kotlin. His current focus is on modularizing the MakeMyTrip app using clean architecture and MVVM. He believes that having a single monolithic module is not scalable and instead, independent modules should be developed to increase development speed and code quality. Sunil has worked with several notable companies in the past, including Goibibo, Samsung, and Amdocs. At Goibibo, he served as a Senior Android Developer and Team Lead, where he led the development of the Ryde by Ibibo Android application, a fully functional ride-sharing app. He designed the architecture of the app from scratch, developed most of the screens, and integrated various SDKs to monitor various stats about the app. Sunil is a graduate of IIT with a B.Tech. in CSE.
